WRF is a software product that is used to perform weather related processing and weather forecasting. In the above project past processing was performed rather than forecasting. The software was installed on a linux computer and GFS files for the relevant period of processing was obtained and processing was performed on the software. After the processing the graphs were generated using NCL software and used in a research paper.
